SFDA Accreditation

Since August 2006, seven specialties – including Anaesthesiology, Cardiology, Endocrinology & Metabolism, Haematology & Bone Marrow Transplantation , Hepatobiliary / Pancreatic Surgery & Liver Transplantation, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Respiratory Medicine – have been accredited by the China State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) and are permitted to participate in clinical trials from which the data and results are to be used for supporting new drug marketing applications to the SFDA.
