In line with the international requirements for public registration of clinical trial, CTC established the first public clinical trial register in Hong Kong, namely HKU Clinical Trial Register (www.HKClinicalTrials.com), providing a public registration platform for investigators to post their studies online.

By the end of 2010, 1211 studies have been posted on HKClinicalTrials.com. These include both industry-sponsored studies and investigator-initiated studies.
